Dover, Delaware, September 4th, 1922.

The regular monthly meeting of Town Council was called to order by the President at 7:30 P. M. with the following members present and answering roll call: Messrs. Hopkins, Burton, Keith, Clements and the Pres. Mr. Magee.

Reading of Minutes: Upon motion of Messrs. Hopkins and Clements, Council voted to dispense with the reading of the Minutes of the last meeting.

Alderman’s Report: The Alderman presented his report for August which showed seventeen arrests and fines collected amounted to $54.50, check for same being turned over to the Treasurer. The report was accepted by Council on motion of Messrs. Burton and Clements and ordered entered in the Minutes and filed.

Treasurer’s Report: The following report of the Treasurer was presented and upon action of Messrs. Clements and Burton was accepted by Council and ordered entered in the Minutes and filed:

Sewer Committee:                            No Report

Street Committee: Council requested Mr. Clements to advise Dr. Twilley and Mr. Jno. F. Saulsbury to have weeds cut in the back of their lots. Denney’s property on Loockerman Street and Mr. D. Watson’s pavement on same street repaired.

Water & Light Committee: No Report. Committee, however, instructed to have fire plug in front of E. L. Jones & Company repaired.

NEW BUSINESS: Election of Dog Tax Collector: Upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Burton Council elected Mr. E. I. Lane Dog Tax Collector for the ensueing year.

Adjournment: Upon motion of Messrs. Hopkins and Clements, Council voted that when it adjourned it did so to meet at 7:30 P. M., September 18th, and the Clerk was instructed to notify all members of the meeting.

Upon motion of Messrs. Burton and Hopkins Council then voted to adjourn.
