Supt’s. Report
The following report of the Supt. after being read by the Clerk was accepted by Council on motion of Messrs. Clements and Keith.
Tons coal consumed 230
Total K. W. H. Generated 124,500
K. W. used Water Pumping 34,100
K. W. used Street Lights 8,880
Total commercial billing $ 4,542.96

Pumping water 1,023.00
Total monthly bill $ 6,076.36
Amount paid town treasurer during month including taxes, water etc.,
$ 20,182.03
The coal consumption above reported is high due to the installation of new type stokers, requiring experimental firing and also to a heavy leak of steam. This has now been corrected, and the consumption down to where it should be, per K. W. H. The new stokers are doing excellent work and permit us to obtain much higher rating on the boilers than was ever possible with the old stokers.
Respectively submitted,
L. D. Shank, Supt.
