Field Hockey Programs
We offer two seasons of field hockey league play. Seasonal Leagues offer up to four (4) divisions: Women's Adult League, High School League, and Middle School League. Our summer league begins play in June and runs through August with games being played at the Schutte Park and Dover High School. In the winter, we offer our indoor league play at the John W. Pitts Recreation Center. Competition begins in December and runs into March when we crown our champions. The Pitts Recreation Center features two courts for continuous play.

Team Registration
Team Registrations Due by: June 2. Online registration is strongly encouraged and recommended.

Rosters/Player Registration
Rosters/Player Registration: Player registration must be completed by June 8 (or first game). All players must register online for their team. Once your team is registered, players may register online for their respective teams. It is important to have your team information submitted by the June 2 deadline. You will be able to view and print your team rosters for player verification. Paper rosters will not be accepted. Players must be on their team roster prior to play.

Team Entry Fee: $340 due by June 2
Schedule: 6 Game Schedule + top 2 teams championship game
Game Location: Dover High School
Game Days: Sundays
Start Date: June 8
Rules: International Hockey Federation rules with some local modifications will govern play.
Eligibility: In order to participate in the Adult League, the participant must be out of high school eligibility.
Team Entry Fee: $340 due by June 2
Schedule: 6 Game Schedule + top 2 teams championship game
Game Location: Dover High School
Game Days: Wednesdays
Start Date: June 11
Rules: International Hockey Federation rules with some local modifications will govern play.
Eligibility: In order to participate in the High School Field Hockey League, one must be in grades 9-12 in the 2025-26 school year.
Background Checks: All High School League team coaches are required to submit paperwork for a background check no later than June 4. Forms are available on our website, listed above, under the "Smart Whistles Program".
Team Entry Fee: $340 due by June 2
Schedule: 6 Game Schedule + top 2 teams championship game
Game Location: Dover High School
Game Days: Mondays
Start Date: June 9
Rules: International Hockey Federation rules with some local modifications will govern play.
Eligibility: In order to participate in the Middle School Field Hockey League, one must be in grades 6-8 in the 2025-26 school year.
Background Checks: All Middle School League team coaches are required to submit paperwork for a background
