Tae Kwon Do                                                                                             Ages 4 – 18 years

Five Star Tae Kwon Do provides services to improve fitness for self-defense.  The program empowers self-esteem, discipline, honor, self-control, respect, courtesy, perseverance and loyalty. The class instills individuals both mentally and physically.  (NOT MANDATORY:  Uniform fee is not included in activity fee, and will be paid directly to the instructor.)  Taking place at the John W. Pitts Recreation Center.  Activity Fee: $50

Zumbini®                                                                                              Age 0 – 4 yrs

Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst™, Zumbini® is an early childhood education program that uses original music and movement to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skill, and emotional 

development for children ages 0 - 4, all while creating the ultimate bonding experience for you and you child.  Participants will receive the Zumbini® Bundle!  The Music, Songbook and access to the 

TV show!   This is a great way for moms & dads to begin those bonding moments right from the the beginning, This class is taught by Miss Monique and will be held at the John W. Pitts Recreation Center. 

Registration fee includes Zumbini® Bunde, a book, music and tools to keep the learning fun at home too!

Activity Fee: $45

Spring Break Camp                                                                  6 – 12 Years 

We have your child's spring break covered with a fun & affordable week of camp.  Campers will play both inside and out (weather permitting).  Games, sports, craft activities and more!  Campers will need to pack their lunch each day.  Held at the John W. Pitts Recreation Center (Schutte Park).  (We do not offer before or after care.) Activity Fee: $125 or Daily Drop In: $55*   *If space is available

Hosted by the Dover Elks Lodge 1903

Jr. Camp Counselor Program                                                                        7^th, 8^th & 9^th Graders

A select few individuals will have a chance to get some early supervisory experience.  Six (6) Individuals will be selected to assist our full-time day camp staff with the Super Summer Playground and Camp Small Wonder day camps.  They will help with programming & implementing activities which include crafts, group games, swimming & field trips.  Students should complete an application & return it to the City of Dover Parks & Recreation Office at 10 Electric Avenue by Tuesday, June 3.  Three (3) letters of recommendation; two need to be from a schoolteacher or administrator are required with application.  Selected applicants will go through an interview process.  Those selected will then need to pay the $225 activity fee.   Applications are available at the John W. Pitts Recreation Center in Schutte Park.

Camp Small Wonder                                                                             6 – 12 Years

The City of Dover’s Super Summer Playground weekly camps are planned with indoor & outdoor play, crafts, games.  Held Towne Point Elementary this camp is sure to please.  Registration is through City of Dover Parks & Recreation.   Camp will run from 7:30 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Limited to just 30 participants in each of the age groups, we strongly encourage early registration.  Campers must be 6 years old on or before June 1, 2025.  Activity Fee:  $675 (Cash, Check or Money order – sorry credit cards are not accepted for this camp/ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.)      Camp Dates: June 16 – August 8    (No camp: June 19 or July 4)

               Activity #:  CSW2    Ages 8 & 9 years

               Activity # : CSW3     Ages 10 – 12 years  

Super Summer Playground Camp                                                6 – 12 Years

Super Summer Playground are weekly camps planned with indoor & outdoor play, crafts, games, field trips, special visitors, and lots of fun!  We offer daily & weekly registration, so you’ll only pay for the time your child attends.  Campers must be 6 years old on or before June 1, 2025.  Campers should plan to bring lunch and drinks each day they attend.
