 Biographical Information 

Dr. Travis Mishoe Sudler I, born December 2nd, 1974, is a native of Dover, Delaware. He is the second born of two sons of Dr. Wilma Mishoe and the late Roy Sudler Sr. Dr. Sudler is the brother of the honorable Roy Sudler Jr., Councilman of the 4th District of the City of Dover. As a youth growing up in the community of Dover, Delaware, Dr. Sudler attended, Kent Christian Academy, William Henry School, Central Middle School, and Dover High School. He started his college journey with Morris Brown College in 1992 as an Early Childhood Education major. However, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wilmington College (now University) in 2005. A Master of Education degree in Educational Studies, 7-12th grade was completed in 2017, at Wilmington University. In 2021, Dr. Sudler concluded his Doctor of Education degree in School Leadership: Higher Education at Delaware State University. The title of his research is Sacred Identity: A Qualitative Study of The African American Classification Within the United States and Its Impact on The Education System. Dr. Sudler has three children JaNae Marie Sudler (Baltimore, MD), Travis Mishoe Sudler II (Smyrna, DE.), Mark Wright Jr. (Smyrna, DE.), and one grandchild, Aniyah Lelani Wright (Wilmington, DE).

Dr. Travis Mishoe Sudler is the Director of Enrollment Academic Services and Compliance in the Division of Strategic Enrollment at Delaware State University. He is a long-time member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He attends Mt. Zion of Dover, Delaware, located on the corner of Queen and Fulton St. During the 22/23 academic year Dr. Sudler began a community assignment as a School Board Member of the Campus Community Charter School of Dover Delaware. In addition, he continues to be a committed member of the Delaware Community Foundations scholarship committee awarding financial assistance to students from Delaware with diverse backgrounds. As a member of Prudence Lodge No. 6, Dr. Sudler frequently conducts community service activities with lodge members, Delaware State University students, and other community organizations and activists. He is an educator, entrepreneur, indigenous, and God-fearing man.
